Woven Metal Products, Inc., a diversified metal fabrication and perforating company, originated in 1968 as a manufacture of wire mesh internals, including chlorine filter leaf pockets for Dow Chemical worldwide. The business grew and so did our expertise into the areas of center pipes with wire mesh, perforated scallops, cover plates, catalyst scoops, and expander rings. As word of our work spread, WMP began supplying other specialty internals including sieve trays, chimney trays, mixing trays, distributing trays, pipe spargers, etc.
When our customer's designs changed, we promptly adapted to meet them. Perforated plate began to replace wire mesh in many processes. To accommodate these changing needs and to enhance production, we added a Perforated Products Division utilizing CNC equipment. Today, this added technology allows us to furnish custom perforated products.
In 1974, WMP began to produce scallops and later expanded into other internals. This gave us the capability of marketing a complete package.
Our qualifications and 35 years of experience in refining and petrochemical internals allow us to design and fabricate exactly to your requirements. WMP is utilized as a design consultant by several process licensers and refiners. We are fully qualified to supply internals for systems by UOP, Haldor Topsoe, Chevron, Monsanto, Oxychem and many others. Our response to a shutdown situation is quick and efficient.
